Teetering on the edge of inadvertent self-satire...

All of these have to be listened to all the way through to get the desired effect. Sadly, this sort of statement is necessary nowadays. I wonder if someday somebody will complain about the lack of drums on "Stairway To Heaven", you know?

People can be very impatient checking out new music. So much so that I can imagine someone being told about "Stairway" as being one the best rock records ever, looking it up on Youtube, and getting distracted and moving on before the drums even come in... and then wondering why there were no drums on one of the best rock records ever...
